Each of us are mothers with a wealth of life knowledge and experience shared between us. We look forward to working with you and building a trusting relationship during this journey.

Student Midwives

The future of midwifery is important to us and we truly value the student midwives in our midst. More skilled midwives in our community to support and care for woman are needed to ensure our unique maternity system can continue.

There may be a time where you will be asked if a student midwife may be involved in some aspect of your care.  It is your right to determine whether you will be comfortable to include a student in your very special and unique journey so we will always ask your permission and thoughts surrounding this.

Student midwives appreciate, respect and feel honoured to be included in the care of any woman during this time and will respect your decision either way.

Thank you for helping our future midwives in their training.

Kei hea tātou? Where are we?

You can find us in our clinic rooms at

North City Plaza, Suite 412 Level 4
2 Titahi Bay Road Porirua

Please note: We are not always in clinic as we also spend time in the community checking on new māmā and pepe and responding to URGENT matters including labour and birth.

If you have an appointment booked with your midwife and she is with a whānau in labour, your appointment may be rescheduled to allow your midwife to give full attention to the whānau. We hope you understand this, as we may also need to reschedule a clinic when supporting you and your whānau in labour.
